The new multi-year deal with strategic partners Zurich and Hiscox will support Pen’s specialist property insurance practice – which provides cover for a large mid-net worth portfolio as well as homes with unusual features or occupancy that are difficult to place within a standard market – with effect from 1 April 2026.
New PI offering for medium-to-large firms is backed by new panel of A-rated capacity partners to complement Pen’s existing SME professional indemnity specialism. The launch is designed to make it easier for all brokers, wherever they are based, to place larger PI risks with single specialist insurance provider.
Professional indemnity specialists Raman Nahal and Jazz Parkash have joined Pen’s multidisciplinary team in Birmingham, further enhancing its footprint of regionally based underwriters to best serve brokers and their clients across the Midlands.
Darren Glover has joined Pen as Senior Development Underwriter for Northern Ireland, bringing more than 30 years’ experience across the full spectrum of property, casualty and property owners’ risks while extending its regional network of on-the-ground underwriting expertise to Northern Ireland.
